Hawai‘i is a land of many symbols, not the least of which is the remains of the volcano, affectionately known as Diamond Head. If you’ve ever hiked it, you know how steep and arduous the climb, as well as the wonderful view it affords.

If you haven’t yet made the trek, be sure to do so early in the day, take your camera, water, a small flash light, and be prepared to climb stairs.

Another fine way to experience Diamond Head, is to take a sail on one of the catamarans lining the shores of Waikiki.
