The title “Of Sea and Sky,” asks that you look for elements of the sky hiding among the sea creatures. Honestly, they showed up unbidden.
A woman stood in front of the almost completed painting and said it looked like a “Traffic Jam.” Such a title asks you to be mindful of your patterns of movement through life. Your movements matter.
A title like “A Tall Blue Drink of Water” reminds us that water is an essential element of all creation. Our body is composed of, on average, 50–65% water. It’s even in the air we breathe bringing us back to “Of Sea and Sky.”
