There is joy in feeling the heart-or-head-to-hand-to-creation connection coming through the bowls. These bowls are perfect to me, although they might be imperfect to the creator.

Handmade art has loads of qualities and character, and is always made by “imperfect humans”.

The more we’re able to put ourselves into our art, the better and better our art becomes, even when it’s “flawed”!

We love the perfect imperfections seen and felt in art that speaks to us.

We are constantly receiving information, increasing our awareness to it really pays off!

Glass ceilings, especially those that are self-imposed, are meant to be shattered, and we're just the ones to do it. Let's do this!

Do-Overs are a natural part of the Creative Process!

Puppy Love

I woke up at 3AM with this message in mind: Transformation Takes Time. I got out of bed to write it down and wrote the following: Shouldn’t I be further along in my career?

Imagine a beautiful, colorful stained-glass window, 30’ long. Now imagine a stone has broken one of the panes. 

Rev. Margaret Stortz recently wrote an essay on this subject and noted that even though the broken pane was small, and not brightly colored, its shattering was deeply felt by all who saw it.

So too when one of us dies (transitions, passes, choose your verb), those of us left behind feel the loss deeply.
