The Art of Compromise
“The Art of Compromise” — my second painting in the “Paradigm Project” explores the use of compromise and patience.
I can see your perspective some of the time and other times I can’t. OR I’ll try it your way, and then maybe try to make it work using the “old ways,” the ways I’ve always done things. “Wishy-Washy”? Maybe.
Sometimes when shifting patterns, we dip a toe in the water to see how it feels. We might quickly withdraw said toe or swim for a while in the new pond. This do-si-do continues while we adjust our ways of being and living. These in-between times call for the Art of Compromise.
