This painting began as a sketch of a baby bird kicked out of its nest at the time the Covid shut-downs began in March 2020. Life was rapidly changing, the image of a fledgling bird felt poignant. The woman in the doorway appeared in a dream in the 70s.

Dreams and Birds are considered messengers in many cultures. May your life be filled with messengers, may you recognize them, and heed their messages.
