Hawaiian Koa Wood is a very hard wood. Because of it's incredibly beauty, desirability, and limited availability, the wood is only harvested when the tree falls.

Kaimana Beach, a favorite Honolulu beach, is the place to go to swim with the Humu Humu Nuku Nuku Apu A‘A (the state fish), and other colorful fish. You can swim with honu on the North shore. Mokulua Magic Mermaid

Na Mokulua (meaning, in Hawaiian, “the two islands”) are two islets off the
windward coast of O‘ahu. Commonly known as “The Moks”, these islets are located a short distance off Lanikai, a neighborhood of Kailua. The larger island is Moku Nui and the smaller, Moku Iki. They are very popular to local seafaring persons with access to a motorboat or kayak; surprisingly, one of the islands contains a “canyon” and a black sand beach.

This mermaid is swimming out to the Moks. The islands are a bird sanctuary;
perhaps she is going out to watch the birds. The water is warm, the air is soft, the sun is brightly shining. Perhaps she can entice you to visit Hawai‘i sometime soon.

Star of the Sea Mermaid

Drifting

This mermaid is lying along the edge of the beach. The sun is high and her hair is being gently washed in the surf. She is slowly drifting off to sleep,
perchance to dream.

Dreaming during a daytime nap is a delicious way to refocus your day and recharge your batteries. Onolicious

The word “ono” is Hawaiian for “delicious”. When it came time to title this mermaid, the word “onolicious” popped into my head unbidden. Who am I to argue with inspiration?

This mermaid feels comfortable in her own skin, confident that you will find her to be delightfully warm and “Reubenesque”. She reminds all of us to enjoy our lives now rather than waiting until some mythical day in the future when all our goals are met. Life is meant to be lived and enjoyed now!
